Urban Circularity and Nexus
To go further into the issues, we have seen that the invention of sustainable solutions requires the implementation of circularity of actions: with the adoption of mobilizing commitments from the actors of sustainable urban development, taking into account the medium term beyond the immediate constraints of the market, the implementation of new value loops optimizes the use of the material at each stage of the life cycle. Decoupling the development of new infrastructures, particularly hospitals, from the extraction of natural resources by creating innovative models that take into account all the flows throughout the life of the building is a real change of scale. It is this assumption that we wanted to highlight in our preliminary work on the Nexus in 2022 and that we will continue in 2023, in an operational mode.
