Handbook of Good Practices for Urban Resilience
On the occasion of its participation in the 12èmes At the AICT meeting on June 29, 2021 at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, AVITEM would like to recall the publication one year ago of its manual of good practices for urban resilience, developed in close collaboration with the eco-city of ksar Tafilelt.
” The acceleration of global warming and environmental degradation, combined with the lessons learned from the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, make it more necessary than ever to think about and work on the construction of urban territories in a constrained geo-climatic environment .
The resilience of cities, the frugality of urban metabolism, the imperative need for nexus, the place of nature in the city, the connection of urban territories with their territorial environment, the management of resources, living together, each and every one of these themes are today questioned with increased vigor. They take on a special significance when they are addressed to a strategic area such as the Euro-African hinge… “
