Training for elected officials of the Moroccan regions 2023
AVITEM assists elected officials and managers of Morocco’s regions in the strategic planning process through training on the preparation of regional development programs.
In partnership with the Occitanie Region, the Association of Moroccan Regions, the General Directorate of Local Authorities of the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior, the CNFPT, Régions de France with the support of theFrench Development Agency.
The commitment of the Moroccan executives and elected officials, who came in large numbers to this training session, gave rise to a wealth of exchanges on regional territorial planning: the need to develop a framework of coherence and a vision capable of bringing together all the actors in the territories; the challenge of moving from strategy to tactics through the prioritization of projects; and finally, the construction of governance.
This seminar is the first of a series of 3, addressing first the co-production process, then the implementation and finally the evaluation of the RDPs in the framework of Advanced Regionalisation.
